1. From the app (the fastest way)
It works the same in the mobile app (Android and iOS) and on the web:
- Open Edrex and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings (the settings icon).
- Open Delete my account.
- If you want to keep a copy, first go to Download my data: you will get a file with all your information.
- Read the notice, type the word ELIMINAR to confirm and tap Yes, delete my account.
You will see a confirmation message and be signed out. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
2. If you cannot sign in to the app
If you have lost access (for example you do not remember your password and cannot recover it), you can request deletion by email:
- Write to [email protected] from the email you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my account”.
- State that same email in the message. We may ask you to confirm your identity by replying to a link or code we send you, to prevent someone else from deleting your account.
- We will confirm by email when it is done. We reply within 30 days at most, normally much sooner.
You can also first reset your password and delete the account yourself from the app.
3. What is deleted
- Your profile and account data (email, name, preferences).
- All your transactions, accounts, assets, debts and payments, goals and challenges.
- Your events, reminders and lists.
- Your bank connections, if you had any: before deleting the account we revoke the access to your bank at Enable Banking. Transactions imported from your bank are deleted with the rest of your data.
- Your conversation history with the assistant.
- Your consents and the AI usage log.
- Your sign-in user (you will no longer be able to sign in with that email; you can sign up again as a new account).
After deletion, we cannot recover anything: neither you nor us.
4. What may remain for a limited time
- Backups at our database provider: they are overwritten automatically within 30 days at most. They are not used for any other purpose.
- If Enable Banking did not respond when revoking access to your bank, that permission expires on its own (90 days at most) and Edrex will not use it again.
- Technical logs of our providers (access, errors), without your financial information, for the maximum period stated in the Privacy policy.
- Data the law requires us to keep: today we do not identify any account data that we must keep after deletion (Edrex does not process payments or invoices). If an obligation arose we would keep only what is essential, blocked and only for the required period.
- Your support and rights-request messages (for example the email asking for deletion) and the record that we handled it, for the time needed and the applicable legal limitation periods.
- Anything you shared outside Edrex (for example a list you sent in a message) is not under our control.
- A store subscription or purchase, if any, is managed with Google Play or App Store: deleting the Edrex account does not by itself cancel a payment. (Edrex is free today.)
After those periods, we keep no data associated with your account.
5. Prefer to delete only part of it?
- Chat history: from the chat itself, in the history, you can delete one conversation or all.
- Transactions, goals, lists…: you can edit or delete them one by one from each screen.
- AI consent: you can withdraw it by writing to us or by deleting your account; without it, the assistant and AI import stop working.
6. Help
If something does not work or you have questions before deleting, write to [email protected] or visit support. Your rights and how to exercise them: Privacy policy.
